Hunting
If you notice, in every thread there is a little list of what can be found in that area. When your cat is looking for prey to eat, this is your best friend.
When replying, if you refer to the top bar where you control what your text looks like, there's a little button:
Click this. It'll give you a little popup box that says "Insert Die." It will give you a little popup that says "Insert Die." In the little field, put "1-10." This will decide IF you found something: If you get a 1 or a 2, you found something. If you get a 3-10, you didn't. ("But that's such a low number," you say. And I say yes, that's the point, my friend.)
Now hit the button again. How many numbers are under the "what can be found here" section? Put that number range (ex, 1-3). Whatever you rolled is what you found!
When your prey has been rolled, hit the dice button again, and enter 1-2. This will dictate whether or not you caught it. If you land on a 1, you missed; if you land on a 2, you caught it!
Line up your rolls before you describe your cat's actions regarding prey; you can go back and edit, the numbers won't change for anything! You can put these in any order you like, as long as you label which roll is which.
Fighting
When fighting, hit the dice button again. You'll roll twice.
The first roll is 1-2. This will decide if you hit the cat. If you rolled a 1 you missed; 2 and you hit them.
The second roll depends on your cat's age.
If you are less than 6 months old: 0-3.
If you are less than 1 year old: 0-6.
If you are over 1 year old: 0-10.
This will decide how much you hurt the cat you're attacking!
0 - Your hit barely touched them and gave them no lasting damage.
1 - A tiny scratch; it didn't break the skin.
2 - A scratch; it broke the skin but didn't bleed.
3 - A cut; blood beads out.
4 - A slice; blood wells up and might drip down.
5 - A small gash; blood drips down and stops halfway.
6 - A gash; blood drips to the ground.
7 - A small wound; this will impede the cat's movements and it hurts!
8 - A wound; this will cause a stumble or a limp, depending on where it is.
9 - A minor injury; this hurts a lot and may cause the cat to fall to the ground.
10 - An injury; this is very serious and could cause the cat to die if they aren't helped. This will leave a scar later on.
